Caroline had stitches Monday night. Frankly, I am impressed that we made it through 8 years as
parents without having one of our kids stitched up before now.
She was a trooper. She never got scared or cried at all!
I am not suprised that Caroline is the one who needed stitches. She plays more rough than the rest of our kids.
Yet, I think anyone learning to use a pogo stick could get this kind of cut.
Hopefully it will heal up pretty well.
The Instacare Dr. loved her because she was so calm!I was just grateful that Chad was home so that he could take her.
Caroline was happy about the large shake that she got afterwards.

So I showed Madison the pictures of the carnage. The first thing out of her mouth..."DID IT GET ON THE DRESS?!". I'm sure she hopes Caroline is okay, too....
Miss Caroline is a trooper for being calm during stitches in the chin.
That's where I got my inaugural stitches when I was about 6 years old. I fit my head in between the bars at the hippo exhibit at Hogle Zoo; I slipped and my head didn't fit the same way coming out as it did when I slipped it IN. I still fondly remember that day.
This will be a great memory for Miss C and I'm thrilled that she has pictures to document the occasion. :)
