I told Maren that I was not interested in working on an "optional" (that is what her teacher said) Valentine's box after all of the work that we had put into her animal report. She was able to talk a babysitter into helping her start it, and Chad into helping her finish. This is the end result. Her classmates enjoyed giving the monster valentine's to eat.
