One of my greatest joys in life is teaching my children to read. When they begin to be able to read independently, the whole world opens up to them. Even more sweet is when they share the world of words with each other. The other morning while the baby was asleep and I was sneaking in a bit of cleaning, I came into the front room to find this. Caroline was reading to Avery. I was thrilled! She even read my all time favorite children's book to her...The Big Hungry Bear. I have loved that book since I was a child. One of my favorite things is reading. I love that my children are learning that joy as well.
